100 happy days 14

Today I’m happy about…living where I only have to walk a matter of minutes and I’m surrounded by beautiful scenery!

This time of year everything is looking particularly pretty because its been nice and sunny over Easter sunny and also because the bluebells are out!

Ever since I was about 5 we have made an effort to see the bluebells every year around Easter. This year I took my tripod down to seize the opportunity of getting some pretty shots.

I’m only posting one photo today as I want to do a proper photography post on them once I’ve picked the best ones!

100 happy days 9

Happy Easter everyone! We had the Grandparent over today for Easter lunch meaning a massive turkey dinner… mmmm! Chococlate and roast dinner make me amazingly happy especially the left overs I can eat tomorrow…

Very short happy post today but I hope everyone has had a lovely Easter weekend and doesn’t regret eating all the chocolate too much tomorrow!

Easter look

We’ve been blessed in England with some really nice weather over the last week of Easter break giving a perfect excuse to bring out the summery colours, put away the dark makeup and instead whip out the light eye shadows and coral blush.

In the hope of the weather improving I bought my spring/summer makeup in late February being a little too optimistic I think but I did get a good price! I bought a Nars white eyeliner, No. 7 lilac eye shadow and a Clinique Chubby stick in lilac as well to use as a base. I also procured a pair of mint green patent platform heels with handbag and scrunchie to match which were a complete bargain from New look at just £30 all together. Pictures below!

Overall  I would say the two colours that I am focusing on this season are mint green and lilac. I think they coexist nicely, don’t look too overpowering and at the same time as bringing a nice bit of energy to an otherwise boring outfit.
